When this page was first set up, there was no charge for a breeder to be listed here, but as of April 2010, the Scottie News has begun transitioning this to a paid advertising page. While we do not personally endorse any of the breeders listed, we work actively to screen out puppy mills and you should feel free to contact scottishterriernews@gmail.com if you believe any of the breeders on this page are engaging in questionable practices.

Sir Bill’s Scotties of Alabama
Sir Bill’s Scottish Terriers is a small kennel located in Somerville, Alabama.
We breed for temperament, quality, health and conformation, and have black, brindle and, occasionally, wheaten Scotties available. Although our focus is to produce healthy family pets, for those interested in the show ring, we do produce extremely high quality Scotties that will do exceptionally well in competition.
Most of our Scotties come from top show kennels in Europe including Russia, Romania and Poland. We wanted to avoid the genetic, temperament and health problems developed in so many American dogs by close-line breeding.
Our Scottie puppies are raised in the house with kids. Socialization with children, their mom and litter mates plays a key role in shaping their exceptional temperaments and all around attitude, making a Sir Bill’s Scottie an excellent choice.
Our puppies are started early on a holistic diet and vitamin program to help ensure you get a quality healthy puppy. No puppies leave our kennel without a thorough check up from our personal vet. As part of our program, we also do health checks on our adults with Vetgen for VWD. Finally, we give a five-year health guarantee as well as a two-year genetic defect guarantee, setting us apart from most breeding kennels.
